תקנון ותנאים

1Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern the rental of a vehicle from WeRent. By booking a car with us - on werent.ge, by phone, by WhatsApp, by email, or through an AI assistant connected to our booking service - you agree to them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not book a vehicle with us.

2About WeRent

WeRent Georgia LLC (identification number 405821696) is a car rental company registered and operating in Georgia, with its office at 21 Giorgi Danelia, Tbilisi.

We own and maintain the vehicles we rent. We are not a booking platform, a broker or an intermediary: when you rent from us, your contract is with WeRent Georgia LLC and the car is ours.

We operate in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi, including delivery to and from all three international airports (TBS, KUT, BUS).

3Who can rent

• be at least 21 years old;
• hold a valid driving licence that has been held for at least one year;
• present that licence together with a passport or national ID at pick-up.

Licences printed in Latin or Cyrillic script are accepted as they are. A licence in any other script (for example Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese or Georgian) must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit or a notarised translation.

Some vehicle categories may carry additional requirements. We will tell you before you book if any apply. We do not charge a young-driver surcharge.

Any person who will drive the vehicle must meet these requirements and be recorded on the rental agreement. Additional drivers are included at no extra cost.

4Booking and confirmation

Booking is free. We take no prepayment and place no hold on your card to reserve a vehicle.

When you submit a booking we send a confirmation link by email. A booking becomes binding once you confirm it and we acknowledge it. Until then we cannot guarantee availability of a specific vehicle.

We rent vehicle models, not individual cars. If the exact model you booked becomes unavailable we will provide a vehicle of the same or a higher category at no additional cost.

5Prices and what is included

• Premium insurance cover (see section 8);
• unlimited mileage;
• 24/7 roadside assistance;
• an unlimited number of additional drivers.

Daily rates are quoted in euro and depend on the length of the rental. The applicable tier (2-3, 4-6, 7-13 or 14 or more charged days) is applied to every day of the rental. The minimum rental is 2 charged days.

• the daily rate multiplied by the number of charged days;
• any pick-up and drop-off location fee (see section 7);
• any optional extras or insurance upgrade you select;
• a service fee of EUR 25 per booking.

The quote you see before you confirm shows every one of these lines. We add nothing to it afterwards except charges that arise from how the rental actually goes - late return, traffic fines, or damage - all of which are described in these Terms.

6Payment

You pay the full amount at pick-up. Nothing is charged online.

We accept cash and debit or credit cards. Card payments are taken in Georgian lari and carry a 3 percent processing fee. Cash carries no fee. Payment by bank transfer can be arranged in advance, in euro or US dollars.

We do not take a security deposit on any vehicle in our fleet, and we do not require you to hold a credit card.

7Pick-up, return and location fees

You choose your pick-up and return location when you book. We deliver to and collect from airports, city addresses and hotels in the cities we serve.

Pick-up and drop-off in Tbilisi is free. Kutaisi and Batumi carry a location fee, which is shown as its own line in your quote before you confirm.

You may return the vehicle to a different city within Georgia. In that case the pick-up fee for the collection city and the drop-off fee for the return city both apply.

The vehicle is handed over with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank. We inspect the vehicle with you at both ends and record its condition.

8Insurance

Premium - included with every rental

Full Casco cover for accident, theft and fire, plus third-party liability up to USD 50,000. The excess (deductible) is USD 200. Glass and mirrors are not covered under this plan.

Full Insurance - EUR 8 per day

Reduces the excess to USD 0, raises third-party liability to USD 100,000, and adds cover for the windscreen, mirrors and any accessories added to the booking.

• your personal belongings or those of your passengers;
• injury to you or your passengers - please arrange your own travel insurance;
• damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
• damage caused by a driver not recorded on the rental agreement;
• damage caused on unpaved or off-road routes, except where section 9 allows it.

9How the vehicle may be used

Vehicles that are not classified as off-road are for paved roads only and must not be driven on rough or unsurfaced routes.

Off-road vehicles may be used on unpaved routes such as forest and mountain tracks. Insurance does not cover damage to the vehicle sustained on those routes. Certain demanding routes, for example the road to Tusheti, are permitted only in vehicles we have specifically approved for them, so please check with us before you set off.

Driving into the occupied territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia is prohibited in all our vehicles, without exception.

Taking a vehicle outside Georgia requires our written agreement in advance. Whether it is possible depends on the vehicle, so contact us before you book if you plan to cross a border.

• sublet the vehicle or let anyone not recorded on the agreement drive it;
• use the vehicle to carry passengers or goods for hire;
• use the vehicle for racing, driving instruction or towing;
• drive after drinking alcohol or taking drugs.

10Rental period, late and early return

The rental period runs from the pick-up date and time to the return date and time on your agreement. Charged days are counted as calendar days between those dates, with a minimum of 2.

• the first 3 extra hours are free;
• after that, EUR 8 per hour applies, capped at one day's rate;
• 3 to 8 hours late is charged at 50 percent of the daily rate;
• more than 8 hours late is charged as a full additional day.

If you return the vehicle more than 24 hours early we refund 40 percent of the unused days. No refund is due for a return less than 24 hours early.

If you are running late, call our 24/7 support before the return time and we will do what we can to avoid extra charges.

11Your responsibilities

• traffic fines and penalties incurred while the vehicle is in your care - we will provide the documentation you need;
• parking charges and toll fees;
• loss of the keys or vehicle documents;
• refuelling with the correct fuel type;
• keeping the vehicle secure and reporting any incident to us promptly.

Please treat the car as you would your own. Normal wear is expected and never charged for.

12Breakdown, accident and damage

If the vehicle breaks down, call our 24/7 support immediately. Anywhere in Georgia we will arrange assistance and, where necessary, a replacement vehicle.

In an accident, ensure everyone is safe, call the emergency services on 112, notify the police so that an official report is produced, and contact us straight away. An insurance claim cannot be settled without a police report.

Where damage is covered by your insurance plan, your liability is limited to the excess for that plan. Where it is not covered - for example damage sustained off-road, or caused by an unauthorised driver - you are responsible for the repair cost.

13Cancellation

You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the pick-up time. Since we take no prepayment, there is nothing to refund.

We may cancel a booking if the driver does not meet the requirements in section 3, if the documents presented at pick-up are not valid, or if we reasonably believe the vehicle would be used in breach of section 9.

14Our liability

We are responsible for providing a roadworthy, insured and properly maintained vehicle, and for the assistance described in these Terms.

We are not liable for indirect losses arising from a delay or a breakdown, such as missed flights, accommodation or onward travel. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Georgian law.

15Personal data

We process the personal data you give us in order to provide the rental. How we handle it - what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have - is set out in our Privacy Policy.

16Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version that applies to your rental is the one published when you confirmed your booking. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.

17Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of Georgia. If something goes wrong, please contact us first - almost everything is resolved that way. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us falls to the courts of Georgia.

18Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
